Typing GIF for iMessage
Create a typing GIF for iMessage mockups and conversation visuals. Match a light or dark message bubble, keep the wording readable, and export the animation.
Recommended starting point
Light or dark bubble · 600 × 240
- Match the surrounding interface tone.
- Use a transparent export for overlays.
- Avoid copying a platform mark or private conversation.
Build the bubble to match the mockup
Most of these exports end up in a product screenshot or a conversation mockup rather than a real thread. Match the bubble tone to the surrounding interface, and export transparent when the GIF has to sit on top of another layout.

A bubble that reads correctly on a white mockup can lose its edge on a dark one. Decide which interface you are illustrating before you pick the background, and keep a second export for the other mode rather than one compromise version.
Do not recreate a private conversation
Use invented names and neutral wording. A mockup that looks like a real thread between real people becomes a problem the moment it circulates outside the project it was made for.
